Spent

If you’re a creative, have you ever felt spent after a project? Almost like leaving the gym or sharing a memorable orgasm. Yes, I said sharing, because we are courteous in my tribe.

Back in the day, writing stories did that to me. My wolf story “Nemesis” is one that sticks out. I had trouble speaking for a couple of hours after typing the end. That was ten years ago.

I was so passionate about writing back then. It was before I’d ever met another author face to face. Everything went downhill beyond that.

This is different. This feels more spiritual and less talent. Also, it’s fun, whatever that is. All I know is that I would play a random riff today and literally laugh out loud with happiness. Year three of my serious guitar journey is about to begin.

I can’t wait to see what comes next.

Also, there’s a few other things not listed here that are floating around out there. Best of luck with the hunt.

You’ve just been thinking
That’s what you do, baby
Hold it down, Dare!” – Gorillaz
