Although better than most that’ve come after, there hasn’t been a castle nor vania – whatever that may be. This is reskinned God of War and every other franchise developed when this originally released. You could’ve called this game anything but Castlevania.

I love all things Castlevania, but I despise those 2010 era games (late PS2\Early PS3) with fixed camera angles and HUGE bosses. This may have been top-notch gaming fifteen years ago, but it’s shite now. Still… Vampires, werewolves, and Patrick Stewart! I die. A lot. Fast forward to when I don’t lol!

Bad memories of wonky camera angles; Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil. I’m talking about the PS1 days. This game was apparently a big deal when it came out, but I’m not seeing it yet.

This is a bit of a strange game for a Castlevania outing. 2010? PS3-ish? Everything feels like Devil May Cry or God of War. Gamers swear by this one. They say it’s awesome. I’m still looking for that.

This is fun! Nothing too crazy just yet. I make my way through the Bog of Eternal Stench without David Bowie’s cod piece. Not recommended!
