After two sudden cancelations due to TACO administration changes, I’m ready to continue my journey toward blindness. DOGE cut tons of VA jobs, and then came out publicly yesterday saying  that the president, his lot, and his agenda are an abomination. Why the sudden change of heart, oh EV Nazi of the Trump-ocalypse?

I normally feel guilty being here because the old men wandering around here do so with a limp or on a motorized cart. Well, a buddy of mine sent me a photo this morning that showed me exactly how old I am.

Yesterday

Most of the old veterans here do two things that irritate me. They watch television on their phones extremely loud without ear buds and they are loyal to our commander in chief regardless of his anti-veteran rhetoric. Perhaps they didn’t feel as betrayed as I did on January 6th 2021. Anyone who occupies the office of the president should have the ethical fortitude not to encourage his followers to take a dump on The Capitol floor. It doesn’t help that his official photograph looks like Large Marge from Pee Wee’s Big Adventure…

That photo really triggered a lot of feelings before I walked out the door. After two divorces, when everything I owned from my past lives were thrown into a dumpster, this is one of the only proofs that I existed in my youth. Compared to yesterday’s photo, it proves that time is a cruel master.

My eyes are dilated now so it’s getting harder to see the screen.

Update. Retinal Skesis in my right eye has grown. Surgery consultation in August. Yup. Eye patch.
