Just A Thought…

I live in Texas and, although I’m unaware of the specifics, I’m heartbroken for the families of the flood victims down south of me. Many of them were elementary school aged girls attending summer camp. I can’t imagine the pain those parents are going through.

Trippy thought. Climate change was/is a gradual thing that passed the repair point sometime back in the 1950’s (according to recent calculations by some scientists blah blah blah). That’s why old people used to sit and talk about the weather all the time. Storms were gradually getting weirder for them. Then, we started associating weather-speak with senility, so we stopped doing so out of embarrassment. Social media destroyed porch swing evenings and front step meet-ups, yet the weather continued to intensify with or without our acknowledgement. It’s irreparable and inevitable.

I think we all better go back to the steps and porches to talk about the weather again. Stop relying on apps and the government to tell us when to save our own lives and the lives of those we love. When all else fails, look up.

Remember looking up?

Yeah, I have a feeling that’s about to become a regular thing again in the near future.

Also, there’s a few other things not listed here that are floating around out there. Best of luck with the hunt.
