I was sitting outside, deep in my morning routine, and messing around with some graphics. A woman came around the corner to let her dog poop, breaking my concentration.
No harm, no foul.
No bounce, no play.
We greeted one another, and that was that.
Then, I caught the sound of bacon frying and thought the chick in the condo above opened her balcony door. It grew louder.
For a second, I thought she was listening to some new, shitty music that began with a sound clip of bacon. Anything is possible, because music is getting lazier. I wouldn’t question it.
No, this was more magical than the healing power of a certain public speaker’s ears. We should mine his ear-skin for medicines.
Anyway…
It was a wall of water moving slowly down my street.
The cold front has arrived in the city, and it kissed my face in slow motion on its way in.
