Sometimes I can’t tell which direction The Observer leans, and that’s a good thing. However, if you’re talking about church stuff in a public forum, I’m pretty sure it’s more to the right.
This is why I can’t work for anyone as a journalist anymore. I refuse to write passionately about stuff I can’t stand. Enjoy, though.
Also, “sin” is obviously a point of view and varies from Christian to Christian. Tell me I’m wrong. I’ve spent my whole life watching churches bend the scriptures to fit their lifestyles instead of the other way around. But, you know, keep on keepin’ on.
If we could keep it all to ourselves like people mostly did when I was a kid, there wouldn’t be so much BS in which to argue. I find my own take on religion much more enjoyable!
