I did my job this morning as a citizen of the United States of America. I voted. Let’s chew the fat.
Standing right outside the door was a “Latinos For Trump” lady with a red, bead-azzled hat and MAGA t-shirt. Wearing campaign material in or near a polling place is ILLEGAL in Texas, but the GOP gets to do what they want here.
Do you expect Dallas PD to do anything? They work for our “Democrat-turned-Republican immediately after the election” mayor. Dallas Sheriff’s Office? It’s state law since January that they work for immigration enforcement.
Also, there’s 13 propositions on this ballot that mean the world to people like you and me. Did you know that cannibis legalization is on the Texas ballot? Of course you didn’t. All we ever hear about is racism, immigration, and Furries in school litter-boxes.
Finally, two of my favorite candidates are running for the same office. I actually felt a tear run down my cheek when I had to make a decision. Anyway, since she’s a black woman and he’s a white man, their individual supporters have turned social media into a racist accusations playground. If you vote for him, you’re a misogynist racist. If you vote for her, you’re throwing away your vote because she can’t beat criminal-ass Ken Paxton.
Now any minute, someone is going to wag their finger at me for playing the race-card. Folks, we live in the race-game, therefore the only thing we can do is play the race-card. They’re the only cards given by the ruling class!
Don’t believe me? I watched the voting lines for half an hour, since they’re kept separate in Texas now by a new, shady state law.
All white folks in the Republican line; all brown folk, except me, in the Democrat line. I was the anomaly.
Tell me again how it’s not all race based?
Preach truths, toke jokes, and shoplift Amazon. There were more people in this country who didn’t vote in 2024 than there were who voted for either candidate. That’s why we are in the situation we are in now.
Go put on some pants and do America shit, Americans. Then…
Shut up about it for a couple of years. Elections don’t seem to end anymore.
