There’s nothing like coming home from an epic weekend to a busted HVAC system. Luckily, it feels amazing outside. “Open windows” are a sign of “roughing it” in the city of Dallas. It’s like a tent, sort of.
A tent with better bullet protection.
Preach truths, toke jokes, and shoplift Amazon, my peeps. It was a good weekend. Tomorrow, we spend more money! (not celebratory; HVAC)
Here’s the weekend top ten from Books & Booos Nacogdoches!

- Zoe – Of course. I will die the “Zoe guy”. Thanks, Six Flags Over Texas, and everyone who’s had a hand in her shenanigans since the release on 9/11/20. Think about it. 9/11 during the first year of the pandemic? Ack! Cool story: My son was in Army boot camp at Fort Jackson, South Carolina while I wrote it. Every week, I sent a chapter with his letter. He, in turn, read it to his barracks. They got the whole story during their basic training, and it was Army approved. That’s the only review I’ll ever need. Hell only knows the mental damage the Army caused to create such a story; both literally and literately.
- Extinguished – You can’t tell me that covers don’t sell books. Behind that cover is a powerful story, though.
- Haunted Spaghet (Tim & Eric? Anyone?) – The title draws them in. The description sells it. Extreme revenge horror stories in today’s United States? Yes, please! There’s a lot of pent-up rage. I offer a few good ideas on how to release said rage. Metaphorically, of course.
Goodnight, all.
