“In a condo in Bishop Arts there lived a couple of hobbits. Not a nasty, dirty, wet condo, filled with the ends of poons and an alcoholic air, nor yet a dry, bare, ultra-modern condo with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a condo, and that means comfort.”
Another North Texas scorcher, but the porch swing offers shade. At least the breeze seems cooler than the still air.
Today is the day where I’ll put on a 70’s rock Playlist (provided to you here via Spotify)
and straighten our Hobbit Hole. I’ll probably shave the scruff a bit as well. You can’t catch your audience off guard if you resemble a scrub. They won’t turn their back on you. A stranger said I looked like Danny DeVito the other day, and I’m oddly cool with that. Which film, though? One Flew Over or Batman Returns? Meh; own it.
About a good three hour zone-out session with sing-a-longs and lyric swaps at the top of my voice. The good times. When you’re all alone.
After you’ve spanked it, but before you felt guilty about it…
Hey, remember those times when all those seventies rockers were singing about being with school girls for an entire generation? KISS did it A LOT, but so did Led Zepplin, and many, many others. I mean, it was rock and roll, and I get it. It runs in my family. This was my cousin:

I kissed that lady a few times as a child, making me classic rock sex royalty by proxy. Own it.
It’s a good thing the few seventies rockers who are still alive aren’t billionaires and politicians…
