I wrote this song about a year and a half ago before things were too crazy in this country, politically, and I promised my wife that the world would have to get through me in order to ever get to her. So, of course, I wrote a song about it. It’s kinda what I do.

I keep jumping back and forth between the electric and acoustic versions of this. I even have one where I hit an overdrive pedal in the solo. I don’t want to take my Les Paul to open mic, because most guitar players are douchey to strangers. I can’t help it if I like nice things.
